The space Welcome to my home! You're sure to feel right at home in my bright and cosy 2 bedroom apartment in charming Notting Hill. The flat has lovely wooden floors and lots of natural light pouring in. It's just 5 minutes walk to Ladbroke Grove station for exploring the rest of London. Professionally cleaned after each guest with all basics provided for to give you a super comfortable stay. The flat has recently undergone a complete renovation and has been lovingly decorated. The decor features period furniture restored by hand with a modern twist and some other vintage decorative pieces. The living room is spacious and very bright. The room has a decorative fireplace with a large mirror, which adds a traditional charm. The sofa is huge and comfy and is the perfect place to relax and put your feet up after a long day exploring the city. The bedroom measures 3.4m by 2.5m, is very quiet and has everything that you might need during your stay, including plenty of storage space and luxurious, freshly pressed white linen. The bathroom has all the necessities you'll need such as fluffy white towels, shampoo and shower gel as well as a hair drier so you don't need to worry about bringing them with you! The kitchen is fully fitted with everything you might need if you decide to prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner at home. In the kitchen you'll find a toaster, kettle, oven and a washing machine/ dryer in case you need to put a wash on. There is a lovely dining table in the living room if you do decide to stay in. The flat is located less than 5 mins walk from Ladbroke Grove station and just around the corner from the world famous Portobello and Golborne markets. The area is famous for the Notting Hill Carnival and is also home to a host of desirable restaurants, cafes and bars, plus two classy cinemas and a couple of cool music venues. Even if you're not in the market for vintage fur coats or a leather rugby ball, it makes for a lovely, colourful walk. Golborne Road market The market opening times are the same as Portobello Road. Golborne Road has its own quirky ambiance distinct to that of nearby Portobello, with an eclectic mix of international food stalls, restaurants from everyday cafes and kebabs to gastro-pub and upscale cuisine including the ultra-trendy new Pizza East, second-hand and vintage wares, architectural antiques, niche designer and vintage fashion boutiques, personal pampering, discount and convenience shops, and local services. It stretches past the iconic Trellick Tower, which itself overlooks the Grand Union Canal leading to Regents Park, Camden and beyond. During the week the market offers mainly fruit, vegetables, takeaway food, and household goods. On Friday and Saturday the market really comes alive with a busy second hand and bric-a-brac section. They also offer vegetarian breakfasts, as well as a wide selection of organic, soy, and almond milk. Best cinema in London - Electric CinemaAfter a fire last year, the Electric had a major makeover and now boasts super comfy beds as well as sofas and armchairs in its iconic cinema. Forget the multiplexes with their plastic frankfurters, the Electric is all about bottles of wine, tapas and old-fashioned pic'n'mix. If you're still peckish after the film, pop in to the famous Electric Diner. Getting around Ladbroke Grove station is the closest tube station and is less than 5 minutes walk away from the flat. The station is on the Hammersmith and City and Circle lines. You can get to Baker Street in 10 minutes from this station and in another 10 minutes you will reach Kings Cross St. Pancras. Notting Hill station is on the central line is 10 minutes by bus or a 20-25 minute walk through Portobello road and the market.Heathrow is the closes airport and you can easily take Heathrow Express or Heathrow connect, which will take you to Paddington only 3 tube stops away from Ladbroke Grove. Bus stop for the buses towards Notting Hill, Marble Arch and Victoria is 15 meters away from the front door. Please note we're only looking for 90 day+ tenants from October onward and will require you to sign a standard rental contract (AST) as part of this agreement to accept your booking.
