Conveniently located in the exciting area of Kentish Town and with great transport links, you’ll be right in the hub of the city but able to escape the hustle and bustle! The flat is located on a quiet tree-lined street with a private entrance to the side of the main building. The living area is light and airy, furnished to a high standard with a warm vibe and chic finishing touches. Relax on the sofa, hang out, make yourself at home! It’s a welcoming and inviting space where you can kick back. The living area is equipped with a TV for you to catch a movie or show on Apple TV. There's a sofa bed in the living room that can comfortably sleep 1 adult, or 2 small kids. Open the double doors in the living room and you'll find yourself in the back garden & patio area where you can sit out on a morning and enjoy your coffee, or a nice cold drink in the evening. If cooking is your thing, you’re going to love spending time in the kitchen. All the appliances are easy to use - you’ll enjoy showing off your culinary skills here! We've got a blender & microwave to help cook if you've got little ones. We also have a Nespresso machine, so you can bring or order pods if you like. There’s even a welcome pack stuffed full of coffee, tea (of course!), and proper English scones. The beautiful master bedroom has a super comfortable double bed and, with fresh luxury linens, what more do you need for a good night’s sleep? You don’t have to live out of your suitcase; plenty of hanging space means you can get unpacking and start feeling at home right away. There are two other double bedrooms with comfy beds and fresh linens for guests to use. Freshen up in the lovely bathroom - enjoy a soak in the large tub or wake up in the mornings with the fantastic shower. White fluffy towels, shampoo, shower gel and hand soaps are provided! My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. Access Guests will have access to the entire apartment. Interaction My friends at Hostmaker are looking after my home while I am away; they are an Airbnb management service team who know London and Airbnb like the back of their hand! Neighborhood The apartment is on an extremely quiet street - but with the busy high street just two minutes' walk away. There is a chemist at the end of the road. Turning right onto Kentish Town's high street, the shops / facilities here cover anything you could need: - Boots and Superdrug - Tesco - Sainsbury's - 'Natural' - organic supermarket and deli with kids' play area - Harry's fishmongers and butcher - Phoenicia - deli and supermarket with great meat section, olives and snacks for BBQ / picnics - Oddbins - towards Kentish Town tube station - Caps and Taps - craft beers and organic wines. Kentish Town and Camden Town offer some of the most varied and fun nightlife in London (in our unbiased opinion!). Too many to list here but a few favourites, all within a 10-15 minute walk from the flat, and in most cases closer to the 5-minute distance: - Camden Town Brewery - the beer is now world-famous but the brewery started here; the bar and terrace have an amazing atmosphere year-round - Anima e Cuore - a local restaurant and well-kept secret; BYOB and incredible food (book ahead) - 2 minute walk from flat - The Oxford - beautiful gastropub, kid friendly - The Lion and Unicorn - friendly gastropub with gorgeous beer garden, plays rugby / football etc; has theatre upstairs - Pizza East / Chicken Shop - part of Soho House group, great food and atmosphere for brunch through to late night cocktails; close to Heath so perfect for post-walk food and drink - Patron - popular and cosy bistro / deli / wine bar on Fortess Road - worth the 15 minute walk from the apartment, book ahead for evenings. Camden Market is one of London's most popular tourist attractions, and just a five minute walk from the flat. The bars, restaurants, delis and beautiful green spaces of Primrose Hill / Regent's Park and Hampstead Heath are also a short walk away. The views across London from the top of Parliament Hill or Primrose Hill are really stunning. The regeneration around Kings Cross St Pancras over the last few years is incredible; the flat is a short walk to the canal then a 20 minutes stroll towards Granary Square - with bars, cafes and fountains. Transit Located a 5 minute walk from world-famous Camden Market and an 8 minute walk from Kentish Town tube station / 10 minutes from Camden Town tube - with the bars, restaurants and transport links of Kings Cross St Pancras a short bus / tube / cab ride away - or a 20 minute stroll down the canal.
