Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The central location made for a great base for exploring the town. Communication was great and self check-in was very straightforward with codes shared prior to setting off.

Negative: There was quite a lot of street noise even on an uncrowded Tuesday evening. I imagine it could be pretty loud on a weekend with noise from the pub below. Ear plugs were provided indicating an awareness of the issue. The passageway at the rear of the property and the rear of the pub itself were a bit grubby and didn't give the best first impression but the corridors and rooms themselves were clean and seemed secure. I would stay again but not with a child.

Summary: Lovely rooms albeit a bit noisy from the street below.
