Summary: We had a fabulous week in this house. The photos don’t do it justice as it’s even better in reality and the kitchen has been recently renovated. The pool was the highlight of the week for the kids in 37 degrees although the pool alarm was faulty and kept going off at random times when it wasn’t set! We hadn’t realised how close the house was to its neighbours and on the week days we had noisy construction as the neighbours were having a new pool installed which wasn’t ideal for us. Plus you can hear other families using their pools etc. If you want to be isolated this isn’t the house for you. Bus in to Aix-en-Provence was really convenient for a quick trip in to town. Chantal was really helpful on check in and check out and was quick to answer any questions we had in the week. The house is really well equipped as I understand it is the owner’s home for most of the year. And I understand the mossies were particularly bad this year - we got eaten alive despite mossie spray, candles and coils!! Was a fabulous week overall with friends and family in a beautiful part of France.
