This stunning 18th-century farmhouse includes a heated outdoor swimming pool and seating area, 1.5 acres of beautiful gardens, complete with trickling stream, farmhouse kitchen & 7 spacious bedrooms making it an idyllic retreat for the whole family. In the heart of the Llyn Peninsula, Plas Newydd is a 10-min drive to famous blue-flag beaches, hidden coves & amazing mountain views. Plas Newydd is a grand 18th Century restored farmhouse and barn with magnificent original features, stunning surroundings and a heated outdoor pool (available from Easter to October).
Stepping into the house through the porch, you enter the large farmhouse kitchen and immediately feel the warmth of the Aga. The dining table extends to seat 13 for a hearty dinner, and everything you could need to cook up a feast is available. Walking through the original timber frame doorways leads to a spacious second kitchen/utility room and downstairs WC. Continuing through the kitchen you enter the family lounge with a grand fireplace and log burner at its centre. There's a lovely mix of communal spaces for social gatherings and cosy corners to snuggle away with a good book throughout the house.
Towards the south entrance, you find the first bedroom on the ground floor with two single beds, plenty of space, and an original (ornamental) fireplace. Head up the stairs to the commanding master bedrooms with exposed beams, king-size bed and ensuite WC. The top floor contains 3 bright and spacious bedrooms. The first with a comfy king size bed, the second with bunk beds and the final room is an individual single. Across the landing, you'll find the full bathroom with a luxury roll-top bath and a separate shower room with a walk-in electric shower.
In the South Wing, you will find yet another lounge, study, a further king-bedroom, twin and a full bathroom. This extensive family home contains a lovely mix of communal spaces for social gatherings and cosy corners to snuggle away with a good book.
The heated pool is surrounded by outdoor seating areas creating the perfect spot to relax with a cocktail while the kids (and big -kids) enjoy the water. Stunning gardens surround the house with manicured lawns, tree-lined hideaways, and wildflowers in the spring. The tricking stream works its way through the bottom of the garden and is a natural habitat for wildlife and birds. There's plenty of space to explore for all of the family - including the four-legged members.
