It has recently been completely renovated and is furnished as a second home with antiques but retaining the comforts of modern living. It has a large sitting room and separate dining room as well as a small office offering wireless internet access. There is a lovely south facing conservatory I have even sat out there Christmas Day for drinks!. Upstairs 1 bathroom and 2 shower rooms serve the 4 double bedrooms. The house is ideal for those with limited mobility, as it has a proper lift to the upstairs area, (by prior arrangement only). There is a large garden with plenty of room for the children to play. Also sun loungers and BBQ. On a hot summer day it is lovely to sit in the shade under the acer trees. There is a good children's playground 100 yards up the road. The house is within easy walking distance of the village stores, providing basic provisions, and a pub. About a 30 minute drive away is Weymouth Bay which boasts long and sandy beaches with traditional beach entertainments such as donkey rides and Punch and Judy. Within 20 minutes you can visit the acclaimed Monkey World and Bovington Tank Museum. For the younger visitors Farmer Palmers is less than 30 minutes away.
