Surrounded by its own gardens it offers peace and privacy whilst being easily accessible. All rooms are generously proportioned and many of the original features have been retained, including original cottage doors, high ceilings and deep silled windows. The large lounge/dining room is warm and welcoming with feature wood burning stove and pretty colour coordinated soft furnishings. There are two generously proportioned bedrooms on the first floor and a large family bathroom on the ground floor. The dual aspect kitchen looks out across the gardens, lined with trees and mature flowering shrubs with lawns and borders. The gardens are totally secluded. A small sun porch at the front of the cottage provides an ideal place to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine whilst admiring the views across open countryside. The cottage is situated down a quiet lane in the small hamlet of Artafallie. This location is popular with walkers and cyclists attempting the ’John O Groats to Land’s End route whilst avoiding the busy trunk road. There are some lovely walks direct from the property.
