This is a perfect spot to explore the area; you can walk to the nearby Swanwick marina, home to a range of prestigious yachts and motorboats and a café. The lodge is within walking distance of a number of pubs, restaurants and chips shops. Holly Hill Nature Reserve and Swanwick Lakes Nature Reserve are both close by. Why not take the Pink ferry to Hamble village which is close by? Hamble offers superb riverside views, quaint cobbled streets and alternative shopping and dining experiences. For a spot of shopping, Whiteley Shopping Centre, just a 9-minute drive away, has a host of well-known high street retailers, an array of dining restaurants and a multiplex cinema.
With easy access to the M27, there is plenty to explore. Visit Portsmouth’s Gun Wharf Quays with waterside dining, ferry trips to the Isle of Wight, designer outlets, Natural History Museum, Spinnaker Tower, and the HMS Victory.
