Yurtopia is a magical paradise set within 4 acres of woodland and lakes. We have decking, firepits, lakeside gazebos and beautiful walkways and tucked away seating areas. Your yurts are fully furnished with a private kitchenette, toilet and shower block. Linen, utensils, eco cosmetics all provided for you.
Mushroom Yurt is our original yurt tucked in the woodland. Signifying the earth and our connection to all living things. The yurt sleeps 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (you can squeeze extra kids if they like being cosy). We don't accept more than 2 adults per yurt. You have a kingsize bed and a trundle bed for little people. There is a log burner and extra blankets. Mushroom Yurt has all bedding provided but we don't provide towels. Each yurt has its own space away from the others giving you your privacy.
Your kitchen has everything provided from crockery, pans and tea towels as well as a coolbox for food. There is a kettle, oven and hobs for cooking and a light for the evenings. The outdoor shower has hot water and your eco cosmetics provided and there is a separate compost loo.
You have a covered outdoor seating area along with a private firepit and BBQ for evenings outside. We sell firewood and BBQ coal but also allow you to bring your own and let you forage from our woodland floor for firepit burning.
This is a working smallholding and they are all free range. We have very large, friendly dogs and cuddly cats so please bear this in mind if you aren't an animal lover. We can't allow you to bring your furry friends unfortunately.
We hold regular yoga, treatments, wellness events and retreats as well as offer these during your stay. For kids we offer stone painting, a statue treasure hunt and have a large trampoline and kids play area.
This is a luxury back to nature experience for couples and families alike. We are an eco site and we believe in living in harmony with the land around us. We don't allow outside music and any noise/music in yurts must be kept to a minimum to allow others to enjoy the woodland sounds.
There is no WiFi or electricity in your yurts but you have a phone charging box and there is lighting. Inside the yurt there is a log burner which keeps the yurt cosy even on colder days so don't be nervous about booking out of the summer season, some of these are the most beautiful.
We are well situated to explore. From cycle tracks, walking, beaches or kid activities. We are 2 minutes away from The Silver Mine Experience, 5 minutes from Bwlch Nant Yr Arian cycle paths, 10 minutes away from Devils bridge waterfalls, 20 minutes from beaches and 25 minutes from Aberystwyth.
