A nature lovers paradise, wake to glorious valley and moor views in the gorgeous old stables. Enjoy the firepit and fabulous outdoor bath - the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine and star gaze.
Recently converted the stables date back to the 1850's and form the ground floor to a former Coach House.
Easy to get to, and lovely walk to pretty Lustleigh village with its pub and village store, the cosy stables has a wonderful sense of calm - the perfect place to relax and explore Dartmoor.
The Stables form the lower level of the Coach House (also available for rent, but don’t worry, will never be let to a different group). Open plan living with the original stable divides used to separate each area perfectly, the space is cosy and charming with its wood burning stove, full kitchen, glorious views across the valley to the moors and fabulous outside bath! (There is a very small chance of being spotted getting in and out so bring bathers if preferred ☺️).
Dog friendly, the Stables are located below (ie attached to) Coach House Lodge, the house is spread over multiple levels on the side of a hill with the stables at the very bottom (down 15 steps). Guests have private use of the lower patio and are welcome to enjoy the property gardens.
Please note there is no indoor bath.
