Our huge rustic character barn has 2 living rooms, 2 kitchens and a large dining room with a table to seat 16 people. We have a private heated indoor swimming pool, which is behind lockable doors.
Our property is perfect for entertaining, birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, in fact celebrations of any kind, and is ideal for families. Our main barn sleeps 13 in beds - we have a put-up bed, which can go in one of the larger bedrooms to sleep 14 and we have a pretty one bedroom cottage just behind the main barn, which has a double bed, small living room and a large walk in shower room.
A long private tree-lined drive takes you to the property gates. There is plenty of parking for numerous vehicles with 4 garage bays and a large turning circle behind lockable gates.
The enormous living room with galleried landing is a fabulous feature and is perfect for gatherings and events with plenty of comfy seating on sofas and armchairs. The bar area and additional seating area adds to the size of this large open plan entertaining space.
The 2nd living room and 2nd kitchen are on the other side of the dining room away from the main entertaining area and allows space for families to spread out. This area is often used as a quiet area for children or adults alike.
The private heated indoor swimming pool is just off the main living area behind lockable doors, which is ideal for little ones.
There is a games area off the 2nd living room with many board games and puzzles to keep children (or adults!) busy. There is also a full size table football just off the bar area for older children and adults. The bookshelves upstairs are stacked full of a huge number of books for young and old. There is also a large collection of dvds including Disney favourites.
The Sky TV with sports channel in the main living room is very useful for rainy days or as an additional entertainment / source of calm in the evenings. The smaller living room has Freeview TV.
Please note that wifi isn't great. We are in a very rural location and some areas of the house are stronger than others.
There is an additional 1 bedroom cottage available to rent separately.
The location is rural and the property is a stand-alone destination for entertaining a large group although please note that we don't allow stag or hen parties. Numerous facilities including pubs, restaurants, shops and beaches are all within a short drive.
