Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: To the front of the property is absolutely idyllic, the lake, the birds, the watersports, all able to be viewed a few feet from your personal terrace. We even had a Spitfire fly overhead!The accommodation are old shipping containers, which were surprisingly well kitted out and spotlessly clean.

Negative: The approach to the accommodation from the main road on an industrial estate is quite off putting. We honestly thought about not even going through the big black wood gates but am so glad we did as its like a different world and was beautiful overlooking the lake. The containers are not very sound proof and we could hear a lot of noise the first night from the people in the next accommodation but we rang the help number the next day, they were lovely and they spoke with the people and thereon the stay was perfect. Expect a bit of road noise as your just off a busy road but it didn't bother us at all and wasn't noticeable at night.
