The nearby farm shop (4 miles) is famed for its fresh local produce, artisan bakery, and delightful afternoon teas. Visit the market town of Tavistock (8.5 miles) or the stunning landscapes of Dartmoor National Park (6 miles), filled with amazing wildlife and beautiful landscapes where you can explore rugged moorland. For more of an adrenaline fix, head to Roadford Lake (9 miles), which offers a wide range of pursuits from sailing to fishing, or the Climbing Centre in nearby Milton Abbot (3.5 miles), which caters for all climbers new or experienced. Situated in in the stunning Tamar valley, the cottage is perfectly positioned for the beaches and the turquoise waters. The north coast being famed for its surf scene and huge expanses of beach, and to the south quaint fishing villages and coves to explore.
