Positive: A great place to stay if you like peace and quiet and your own space. The property is located on a hillside farm up a steep road, surrounded only by fields of cows and sheep. You can walk from the property. It's near some nice lochs if you have a paddleboard or kayak with you - Loch Clunie is particularly popular. The house is large and well equipped - plenty of space for a family and with a pleasant outside space with table and chairs for eating. Friendly hosts.

Negative: Ring the hosts if you want to speak to them - they don't respond to emails. Getting the keys was oddly complicated. We had to pick them up from another farm, then drive to another house for someone to take us to the property and then someone else had to come and show us round. The bathroom was not clean but generally the house was ok. Would have been good to know before we arrived that there is no drinking water at the property - they did provide some bottled water but it wasn't enough and we would have brought some with us if we had known. You have to pay in cash for gas and electricity at the end of the stay. There is a fireplace and plenty of firewood. We paid about £20 for 6 days in summer and did not use the heating. I think the previous people paid £40. The property was much cheaper than other available properties, even after paying energy costs.
