Positive: Myself and another friend staying here whilst visiting the area - which is beautiful! Highly recommend the Fox and Pheasant on the banks of the River Eden (some people were wild swimming). The lodge is so well decorated and was a relaxing base to come home to. Everything we needed was provided, even a washing machine (which we didn't need but I was surprised to find there so good for families). The single beds seemed a decent width unlike some caravan ones and mattresses comfy. Having 2 toilets (1 shower) was great too. The park is quiet (little bit of road noise), and a fab little village shop called Eden Stores in Armathwaite village 2.6 miles away. Sells local delicacies as well as ready made sandwiches, groceries and souvenirs. There is a take away with pizzas and burgers on the A6 very close by if needed. A great value stay and good communication from the owner .

Negative: A little road noise but wasn't a big issue as not much traffic at night
