Summary: Only read reviews after I stayed. Personally my stay was ok. The receptionist /manager was polite and helpful to me. Very chatty, even upgraded my room when I arrived. The room was basic and wasn't all glamorous, but wasn't filthy. Bed was comfortable enough. Means to make facilities in room but I didn't use. Shared showers and bathrooms wasn't ideal but didn't really bother me. I was in no time rush so could afford to wait until one came free which wasn't long. There was a communal fridge and microwave but I didn't use them. Although reception wasn't 24 hours, the out of hours entrance & exit was around the back and I had no issues with codes. If you just want a bed and hot showers for a night or two then this is cheap and cheerful. I'd you're on a business trip then this hotel is t for you. I can understand some of the previous reviews as the local area is run down but I have stayed in a lot worse.
