A delightfully cosy and characterful Welsh cottage, only a minute’s walk from the famous Pont-Y-Pair Bridge. This traditional cottage stands on a quiet residential street within the conservation area of Betws-Y-Coed, the gateway village into Snowdonia National Park.

Garth is superbly located, offering a convenient and comfortable base upon which to explore the surrounding area for couples and up to 4 guests. There are shops, pubs, restaurants and eateries an easy walk of 100 meters. With excellent parking facilities making it a hassle free property to park, leave the car and take alternative transport options around the area.

Garth is a non pet, no smoking property. Stays are on a 7 night booking basis only, Saturday to Saturday. We believe in sustainable tourism, offsetting impacts with longer stays. Refurbished throughout in 2022 to highest standards, included forever solid mahogany furniture, a range of modern appliances from latest TV, sound bar to coffee machine. Decorated in heritage traditional paints and quality furnishings making the property comfortable and welcoming.

A modern, efficient and remote managed gas central heating system,which includes mains electric, gas and water included in the cost of your stay. A Courtesy basket of logs and kindling is provided for those who wish to use the log burner ( please let us know in advance). All linen and towels included.

The garden is spacious, enclosed, private and pretty. Fruit and ornamental trees, well stocked borders and planters laid to lawn and traditional slate with a raised decked area. With forest views including the river and field. Making it an idyllic location for relaxing, bird watching and stargazing.

Our dedicated private (Off Road) Parking is rare for a property of this size, offering ample parking , 5 metre wide access through double country gates, illuminated at night granite pavers. There is an additional side pedestrian gate.

The Owners will meet and greet you upon arrival, provide the welcome pack including bespoke touches to every stay. We will ensure you are settled in provide you with the important information for your stay.
