A little further afield are the seaside towns or Lowestoft and Southwold, both within 30 miles. Spend the day exploring the city of Norwich (17 miles) or visit the seaside resort of Great Yarmouth (12 miles). Catch a train to beautiful Berney Arms then return along the Wherryman’s Way – a walk of around 5 miles – or visit South Beach, close to the station at Lowestoft (20 miles). For history buffs, a 15-mile drive to the Roman remains at Burgh Castle is well-rewarded. Alternatively, simply stroll to Pettits Animal Adventure Park – just up the road from this property – for family-friendly animal encounters and entertainment.
