This property is wrapped in 12 acres of private nature filled woodland and a short walk to hundreds of acres of the Bawsey Estate & County Park to be explored. From an open fire, a wonderful fully enclosed garden with luxurious hot tub to deer and badgers. This dog friendly property is about finding space to relax, unwind and make happy memories from beautiful walks that end with a cup of tea in front of the fire to stargazing the night sky with a glass of bubbly in the hot tub.
The space
Forestry Cottage is situated in huge private woodlands which it shares with one other property but is accessed by its own completely separate driveway and front door. Both properties have their own enclosed gardens and hot tubs. Although these two properties are completely separate they can be booked together to sleep 12 guests. They are surrounded by nature and backing onto one of the most breathtaking country parks in England. It has to be experienced to be believed. Water sports are available on the Great lake, you can book through Bawsey Bay Watersports.

Other things to note
All bed linen and towels are provided. T-towels, oven gloves, washing up liquid, a few dishwasher tablets. Also enough toilet rolls, kitchen roll, tea. coffee, sugar and milk to see you through the first day and night at least. We only supply enough wood for the first night and only from October to March.
The Sandboy pub is open Monday to Saturday 10am till 2pm as Biagio's tea room which is 10 minute walk across the Country Park to the kissing gate and across the road, it serves lunches, cakes, cream teas, hot and cold drinks.
The hot tub is emptied, cleaned and re filled after each guests stay. So there may be occasions when the water will not be warm enough for your first nights stay. We apologise for this but are we sure you would rather clean fresh water and just to wait a little longer for the enjoyment of the hot tub.
We will do our best to answer any questions or inquiries within a couple of hours and always try to do right by our guests. If we cannot do a booking that is requested for any reason we will affirm this as quickly as we can.
