Welcome to Sweetpea Barn, a delightful retreat tucked away on the outskirts of the quaint Cornish village of St Dennis, close by to popular destinations such as the Eden Project, Newquay, Truro, and St Austell.
The all-ground floor, converted semi-detached stone barn, offers guests a warm welcome amidst the serene Cornwall countryside. With magnificent country views from every window, and a delightful patio area, where you can sit out with your breakfast of a morning and delight in this picturesque location.
Head into the warm and inviting open plan living area, with lounge seating two large sofas, perfect for evenings spent with loved ones. The well-equipped kitchen provides all you need for an easy self-catered stay.
Down the hall, you'll find two comfortable bedrooms: one king-size with an en-suite shower room, and one superking zip/link bedroom which can be made into two single beds on request. We can provide a small, pull out single bed on request for this bedroom to suit a young child under the age of 8, please enquire at time of booking. To complete the accomodation theres an additional bathroom family bathroom with shower over bath.
Nearby you can visit coastal towns like Mevagissey and Charlestown or enjoy a range of activities available in St Austell and Newquay. Cornwall is home to a variety of beaches, ideal for sandcastle-building and swimming to surfing lessons for beginners, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
For walkers and adventurous, you'll find Goss Moor Nature Reserve with the Goss Moor Trail nearby. The barn is within 15-30 minutes drive of three golf clubs (St Austell, Porthpean and Newquay). For younger guests, the Screech Owl Sanctuary and Animal Park allows people to get close to the animals with flying displays and pre-bookable close-up encounters. Nearby shops including Kingsley Village at Fraddon with M&S Food, TK Maxx and Boots are just five minutes away.
