Grange over Sands with its Edwardian promenade, shops and beach, perfect for a day at the seaside is a 5 minute drive away. Lake Windermere is a 20 minute drive, jump aboard the boat at Lakeside an hop off at Waterside or Windermere to explore these popular towns and their shops, art galleries and restaurants. There are numerous nature reserves close by and a vast array of birds and wildlife can be seen at nearby Humphrey Head and Witherslack for the Ospreys.
