Summary: Disappointed by this Hilton - Very tatty, lack of maintenance - then got a note from the hotel to say that as of the end of July it would no longer be a Hilton hotel. Explains the lack of maintenance etc. Very poor. Was alarmed when reception staff said don't park round the back due to lack of security cameras. Disappointed that the marco pierre white restaurant was closed, and location meant you could not walk to somewhere else. Thought about visiting pool but after being told it was £5 each or if we joined the hilton rewards scheme (free) entry would be free (felt I was being ripped off). Then an explanation of no locks on lockers in pool changing so dont leave valuables - and you could take things to the poolside- just felt the vibe had left us. Totally unwelcoming stay.
