This 4 bedroom home, situated in the beautiful Lyncombe Vale in Bath, is a fine example of a 1960s architect-designed house that has been recently refurbished by CaSA (Contemporary and Sustainable Architecture). With south-facing sun terraces and a garden overlooking meadowland and forests, it is an idyllic setting, yet only a 10 minute walk to Bath Spa railway station and the city centre beyond.
Accommodation includes a spectacular open plan kitchen / dining / breakfast room, 4 double bedroom, through lounge, terraces, bathroom and a private shower room.
There is a sloping rear garden that has been landscaped to incorporate a series of levels with an area of lawn at the bottom. There is parking at the front and back of the property.
The house is located in one of Bath's most privileged locations - it is close to the centre centre and to Widcombe yet retains a rural feel thanks to the leafy surroundings, historic architecture and winding lanes.
There is so much to see and explore here in the city of Bath. You can take a 5 minute walk to the new Two Tunnels walk and bike path from our house or 10 a min stroll will take you to the Bath Skyline walk, voted the most beautiful National Trust walk in the UK.
A very short walk away from our home is a farm shop and The National Trust Prior Park Gardens.
Or maybe spend time in the many museums, Roman Baths, or relax in the modern Thermae Spa. Stroll to the world famous Royal Crescent.
Bath is only an hour from Stonehenge.
An hour from Oxford, one hour 20 minutes from London Paddington.
10 minutes to Bristol by train and a great place to locate yourself for a UK trip.
