A farm on the edge of cultivation cutting into the heather moors of Kirkby Malzeard snuggled under the heights of Shortlick and Clints Hill to the west. There is a panoramic and uninterrupted view over pastures, tree-lined meadows and cornfields reaching out to the Vale of York and beyond. The houses sit near Stock Beck, a tributary of the river Laver adjacent to coniferous woodland and are reached by a long, narrow lane (or unclassified, single track road) which links to a private drive leading to an open yard with dedicated parking and turning areas. Warren Barn sits overlooking the dedicated paved and gravel parking areas and views out to the fields towards the Vale of York.
Access is either along an easy ramp or four stone steps to a raised, flagged patio at the front of the cottage. Entry is through large bi-fold glass doors to the spacious open plan lounge with reclining sofas, dining area and kitchen. The ceiling is lofted to the rafters exposing the roof beams and trusses with natural light spilling down from a central skylight. To the side of the lounge at the front is a bedroom with double bed and built in wardrobe, off the lounge to the rear is a fully tiled shower room with washbasin and toilet, both with skylights.
