A quirky, central, comfortable, 1860 townhouse with seven double bedrooms and three bath/shower rooms. This large property over three floors boasts an eclectic dining room and charming living room with a boudoir grand piano. A 15 minute walk to the city centre makes us the perfect character filled abode for large families and groups. *DURING JULY 2024 WE CAN ACCOMODATE UPTO 20 PEOPLE AS 6 OF THE 7 BEDROOMS WILL HAVE SINGLE BEDS IN THEM FOR ALL STAYS - SEND US AN ENQUIRY TO BOOK. The house is very spacious and copes well with a large number of guests. The house is fully equipped and includes towels, toiletries, hair dryers, irons, cot and a highchair. You will have the exclusive use of the whole house and garden. We are avaliable for any questions or queries you may have. The location is very good, in a nice neighbourhood in the historic New Town (18th & 19th century) which along with the Oldtown forms a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We are near the Botanical Gardens, The Water of Leith, The National Portrait Gallery and many important sites. A full range of supermarkets, shops, restaurants and bars are within a short walk. We are a short walk from the tram terminus from the airport, close to buses and a twenty-minute walk from the main railway station and the city centre. Many sites are within comfortable walking distance. There is on-street parking at a reasonable price and free in the evenings and weekends. Local bus services are frequent and reliable. A taxi to and from the central area is only a few pounds and takes 5 to 15 minutes. A taxi from Edinburgh Airport for 5/6 persons costs around £34 and takes about 30 minutes. Just let us know your arrival mode and we will be glad to advise on transport, parking etc. The home is over three floors so we do have a few stairs, however there are two bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor and access from the street is along a short path through the front garden.
