Summary: The Gite itself was very comfortable, well equipped and clean. Plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. However there was a party on the Friday night and a wedding on the Saturday, very loud music until 2.30am on both nights, the fire alarm went off at 2am (no one batted an eye lid or checked on the gite). The Gite is centred around a lovely courtyard and has patio doors out to a patio with garden furniture. The main entrance for the events is through the courtyard so all partygoers gathered in the courtyard and round the back of the Gite, using the furniture and patio right outside the doors and windows. There were also party games set up on the lawn area at the back of the Gite meaning you could not sit out and enjoy the outdoor space. If we had known there were these events on we would definitely not have booked to stay at this location. It was a shame as when there were no parties it was a lovely place! Perhaps check with the venue before booking.
