A perfect destination for exploring both sea and mountains; there are great walking/cycling routes at the Snowdonia Slate Trail and Ogwen Valley as well as some fantastic local beaches and watersports opportunities to be found along The Menai Strait and Anglesey. For some great days out, explore the expansive grounds at Penrhyn Castle and the mighty Caernarfon Castle, ride the Llanberis-Snowdon Railway or visit one of the various Zip World adventures (think zip-lining over abandoned quarries, bouncing through a disused mine and balancing along a tree-top course).
