4 Bedroom Cottage in Quedgeley, Lower Quinton
Elmhurst Cottage is a very attractive holiday cottage situated in a picture postcard village in the northern Cotswolds. The cottage is utterly charming and filled with lovely period features including original beams, an inglenook fireplace and flagstone floors - all hardly surprising given that it dates back to the 1600's! It's idyllic location over looking the beautiful village church of St Swithin's along with glorious views to open countryside make it ideal for a rural holiday, yet given there is a pub in the village along with some basic shops you've actually got plenty on your doorstep too. The location is perfect for visiting many local Cotswold villages plus of course Shakespeare Country at Stratford upon Avon. The owner has carefully maintained the property over the years and still is one of our most popular cottages and in our opinion for good reason. The cottage is ideal for groups and families alike with good size bedrooms, a study with Xbox for the children and a large garden to the rear. We love it here!
Lower Quinton, Warwickshire is a short drive away from the market town of Chipping Campden. Chipping Campden sits in the northern part of the Cotswolds and boasts many historical buildings from St. James' church where the Chipping Camden Music Festival is held every year, to the early 17th century market hall upon which the town prides itself. Not only does the town have a rich history but much more, the high street is laced with charming limestone buildings with a range of shops and pubs. There is also several beautiful, formal gardens for you to wander through.
