From the allocated parking space, the apartment is accessed via a flight of stone steps to the communal front door and entrance lobby. On the first floor, the apartment opens into a hallway from which all rooms can be accessed.
The open plan living area provides a comfortable sitting/dining room with a divided kitchen area. From the bay window in the dining area, spectacular views can be enjoyed.
Two bedrooms in total, a master bedroom with King-size bed, wardrobes and French doors to a small private balcony. In addition, this room has an en suite with bath, shower (over) wash hand basin and w.c. Bedroom two, is a twin room with wardrobe and wash-hand basin. Outside, guests have the full use of the communal gardens and a path that leads down to a footpath to North Sands Beach. This is a peaceful and popular location about 400 yards from North Sands beach and approximately 1 mile from the town centre. The Winking Prawn beach café and tennis courts are just a few minutes' walk away.
Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck's where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.
