There is ample seating for dining and for relaxing when you're not out in this incredible area. Kirk Ireton is a village in the Derbyshire countryside on the borders of the Peak District National Park, 4 miles from Wirksworth. Kirk Ireton is made up of sandstone buildings, many date back to the 17th century, the oldest of which is the pub. Kirk Ireton is home to a Norman church and the village is perfect for a stroll around and soaking up the history. Nearby Wirksworth is a town on the edge of the White Peak, full of character with buildings of architectural interest including a church.
