Dyserth was mentioned in the Domesday book of 1086 and has ancient castle ruins, a stunning waterfall, quaint tea rooms, two pubs serving food and the Parish church of St Bridget with superb stained glass windows. There is easy access to local walks including Offa's Dyke Path, Gop Hill, Allt Y Craig and Golden Grove. It is also close to the seaside town of Prestatyn, whose Blue Flag beach provides miles of golden sand.
