A short stroll along the attractive High Street takes you to the picturesque chocolate box Cavendish village green with two traditional pubs, village shop, antique shop, tea room, medieval church and a brasserie restaurant called "The George".
Situated between Clare and Long Melford and close to Lavenham and Bury St. Edmunds, with Newmarket and Cambridge further afield. Both Kentwell Hall and Melford Hall are local visitor attractions along with the array of antique shops, pubs and teashops in Long Melford and Clare. Sudbury is a 5 mile drive with a leisure pool with wave machine and flumes. There is the stunning Gainsborough health club and spa just outside Cavendish where a day pass and treatments can be purchased in advance. The Green at Cavendish has spectacular views and a children's play area.
