Beach Retreat is located at the quieter Southern end of Bovisand Park which is in an area of outstanding beauty. This comfortable chalet can be your sanctuary, an oasis of calm, yet it can be that fun beach holiday away from the hustle and bustle where the sound of the sea is always present.
The ever changing views are jaw dropping and one never tires of the 180 degree view from the coast all the way to Plymouth across to Cornwall, Sit here and watch much Naval activity and the glorious sunsets.
Bovisand is an ideal home base if you wish to explore more of Devon and Cornwall.
Walk straight from your car, no steps, into the chalet through the double glazed glass doors and you are in a light and inviting open plan living area and kitchen. The view from both of these areas is ocean and out to sea.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine and all other necessities as is the whole chalet. Comfortable beds, blackout curtains and the sound of the waves. WiFi is good here.
The large rear patio is a glorious sun trap, shaded from the sea breezes and the best place to dine alfresco. With a lockable patio gate so small children will be safe in this area.
The inviting tide pools and small beach is less than one minute away, children just love exploring these crab and anemone filled pools. There is plenty of sea glass here too. Two larger sandy beaches are a short walk away.
The Bovisand Beach cafe is a short walk away and serves breakfast and full meals, coffee, tea and home made cakes. Next door is a shop serving ice cream and all your beach supplies.
The easy coast walk is 2 minutes away. Walk so close to the sea's edge for 30 minutes and you will come to the small village of Heybrook Bay where there is a super pub. Dog and child friendly and an amazing view. Food is reasonably priced but you may need to book for evenings.
