Positive: Booked 3 lodges for our family to celebrate my daughters 40th birthday. We were all very impressed by the site, which is very quiet and attractive, and the accommodation. The lodges were a great size and presented well. Beautiful views over the countryside and a generous balcony. Having 2 bathrooms, one ensuite was a bonus. Plenty cupboard space. The kitchen was well stocked, lots of utensils, pots, pans etc. Fridge, freezer, and dishwasher available if wanted. Parking next to the lodge, which made it easy for unpacking the car. Lots of useful advice provided in a folder in the accommodation also included a parking disc to use in nearby towns. There's a couple of supermarkets close by, so that would be useful if we had been staying longer. You can also order from local takeaways, and they will deliver onsite. We did have an issue with the heating in one of the lodges as there was an error code. Someone arrived quite quickly to check it out. Unfortunately, a part was needed so it couldn't be fixed until the next day. These things happen, and it was responded to well.

Negative: Didn't affect us, but some people may find access down to the lodge via the cinder (type) path with steps a little difficult, and the wood was slippery when wet. I struggled to get a response to some minor questions using the online message service on booking.com
