Seaview is a stone and timber clad lodge, arguably situated in one of the best locations in Cornwall with uninterrupted sea views across St Austell Bay as well as panoramic views of the glorious Cornish countryside.
The spacious and luxurious lodge sits in an enviable position within the stunning 24-acre gardens and grounds of the Trenython Manor Estate. The Manor itself is typical of England’s rich heritage being an architectural treasure, built in 1872 and open to our guests.
This idyllic holiday location, perfect for families or a romantic getaway, not only has wonderful views with easy access to all the Cornish Riviera has to offer but we get the sun from morning to evening, perfect to sit, relax, absorb the views and unwind.
The property consists of two large bedrooms, both with en-suite facilities including bath and shower, together with a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area that can easily cater for a family of six or three couples (one of the two sofas opens up into a large sofa bed). A further sofa bed in one of the bedrooms could also be used for larger families with children. Note: maximum of 6 Adults + 2 children
The main entrance door leads into the entrance hall with storage cupboards for coats etc. and the double patio doors in the lounge lead out onto a private terrace, perfect for outside dining and to sit with a glass of wine in the evening, admiring the wonderful views out to sea and along the Cornish coastline.
The property is fitted out to an extremely high standard. The dining area has a large extendable oak dining table capable of seating up to 6-8 people, ideal for large families and for entertaining.
We like to think we are providing our guests a home from home and so you will find our lodge better equipped than most other rental properties.
We try to provide everything you would expect to find, bedding, towels, toiletries, starter pack, fully fitted kitchen etc when renting a luxurious property by the sea but also so much more besides.
When staying at Seaview Lodge you will just need to pack your clothing and personal items.
Our fully fitted kitchen has all modern devices and equipment to make your stay a true home from home, electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, slow cooker, air-fryer, raclette, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, all the pots, pans and utensils you will need and cutlery, crockery and glassware for at least 8 guests. In addition we leave out other useful additions like condiments, herbs and spices for that delicious meal at home – although with so many great places to go out to eat in the area you will be spoiled for choice whether to eat in or out.
We provide shampoo, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and washing machine powder etc.
There are smart TVs in the lounge and in both bedrooms and there is a DVD player in the lounge. We have provided a selection of DVDs for you to use but you may wish to take some of your own to watch.
There is a flat panel Hi-Fi in the lounge area and we have provided a selection of CDs for you to use but you may wish to take some of your own to play.
There is an Alexa Dot with complete functionality which is connected to the Hi-Fi
There is L'OR Barista coffee pod machine however you will need to take your own favourite pods with you as these are not available at the hotel, although they are available in nearby supermarkets.
There is an electric iron, ironing board, clothes dryer, hair dryer, highchair, vacuum cleaner, and cleaning materials for your use.
We have provided a selection of books and games for you to use but you may wish to take some of your own. If you take books to read and finish them whilst on holiday feel free to leave them for the enjoyment of future guests.
Likewise we leave out a selection of drinks which guests are welcome to share - all we ask is where possible or practical you replace what you use.
We have provided a simple medical kit with plasters etc, but you should make sure you take your own medications and safety items. Don't forget to take things like sun protection cream.
If you have young children we can provide a high chair but you will need to take your own potty and changing mats etc.
If you are taking a well behaved dog with you (and have booked accordingly) please take your own dog bowls etc. - please do not use our bowls or dishes for pets.
Our guests can explore and enjoy the 24-acre gardens and woodlands including children’s play areas and in addition have access to the hotel and spa facilities including a heated indoor swimming pool, gym, Spa (charges apply for certain Spa treatments), restaurant and bar.
There is free parking behind the lodge, easy and safe access.
Note: the Lodge is 'Non-Smoking' throughout - please respect this.
Guests will have full and private access to the Lodge and full access to the extensive landscaped gardens, woods and grounds

The area offers fantastic walking, cycling, golf and of course many beautiful beaches and secluded coves. The area includes some of Cornwall's most stunning gardens and famous visitor attractions including The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Lanhydrock, all within just a few miles from Seaview Lodge.
From the larger towns of Fowey and Lostwithiel to the smaller villages of Polruan, Golant, Bodinnick, Lerryn and St Winnow on the river, this area has much to offer every visitor.
