Machynlleth, known as "The Ancient Capital of Wales", is home to cafes, pubs, independent shops, and galleries. For exciting days out, head to Corris Steam Railway and Museum (11 miles), visit King Arthur’s Labyrinth (11 miles) and explore Corris’ Victorian slate mine (11 miles).
