Further afield, the whole of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offers a wealth of beauty with tumbling waterfalls, ancient hay meadows and Gold Tier dark skies to gaze at the constellations, all making for a fantastic week away. Alston (1 mile) is the highest market town in England and boasts a great selection of independent shops and cafes where guests can stock up on food and trinkets from their travels.
This environmentally conscious property is topped with grass, allowing it to blend into its natural environment and adding an excellent layer of insulation in addition to the underfloor heating, which ensures an enjoyable stay all year round.
