Nestled within the truly special Kelling Heath Holiday Park, Woodland Retreats offer stylish accommodation for guests looking to relax and unwind in a natural setting that is also packed with leisure facilities. The beauty of this park lies in things like the spacing between lodges, the mature woodland setting and the traditional activities. This is a designated Dark Sky area, perfect for stargazing and the events on-site tend to celebrate this pace of life with things like bug hunts laid on for the younger members of your party.
Woody Heights (ref UK43203) enjoys a secluded position on the edge of a wooded drop, giving views across the treetops to the sea, although when summer comes the leaves will change this view to one of vibrant greens. Silver Birches (ref UK43201) is, as the name suggests, in an area filled with these beautiful trees and has a deck for morning coffees and evening sundowners. Both offer quiet retreats and the chance to commune with nature, relax, unwind and enjoy the feeling of everyday stresses and strains falling from your shoulder.
A short walk into the site centre/village square will reveal a host of things to do and enjoy, including an indoor heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna and gym. There is also a seasonal outdoor pool, a clubhouse, a pizza restaurant, café, an on-site shop stocking local produce, a fishing lake and organised activities and regular events and entertainment and pop up food stalls in season. There is a tiny tots play area and a larger play area for older children as well as on site bicycle hire.
Many guests choose to stay on-site but venture a little further and you will find yourself close to the stunning North Norfolk coastline and within easy reach of both the Norfolk Broads and the fine city of Norwich. Health & Fitness: day pass; adults £12.50, kids £6.50 (peak time prices); 3-day flexi-pass £23 and £12 (use any 3 days of your stay); 7-day pass £35 and £18 respectively (use on 7 consecutive days) Passes are only available once onsite from the leisure centre. Some swim times are designated as adult only (before 10am and after 6pm). The health and fitness centre has a large pool in a lovely vaulted room, sauna, steam and jacuzzi pool as well as a gym. The shared outdoor pool is seasonal and can be booked via Eventbrite (link on the Kelling Heath website) a few days before, one hour slots are available at a time. Code for May half term is KELMAYODPHHO The shared indoor pool is open 7am-9pm, every day. The restaurant clubhouse may close over Christmas and New Year 2023..
