There are plenty of picturesque villages to discover nearby, such as Yoxford (2.5 miles) with its antique shops and bookshops. Got a history buff in your party? Make a beeline for the abbey ruins at Sibton (4.5 miles) and Leiston (3.5 miles). When it’s time to hit the beach, Dunwich is only a 4-mile drive away, while Thorpeness (7 miles) is another great seaside option and also has a wonderful boating lake.
