Inside you will also find an open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining area. To the outside is off-road parking, and an enclosed lawn garden. Located in a charm-filled destination with much to see in the village and beyond, Granary Cottage is a pleasant retreat in an excellent part of England. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome. Shrewsbury - Shropshire's county town, founded by the Saxons and most extensively developed by Tudors, lies within a giant loop of the river Severn and is famed for its castle, spires, abbey, parklands and half-timbered medieval houses. Just outside of these, you can visit Attingham Park and Wroxeter Roman City, with the ruins of the fourth largest city in Roman Britain.
