Positive: The location is quiet, it is excellent if you love nature. You can walk around the farm and field around the area, there was even a walking map provided, and a thick folder with loads of suggestions of places to visit. The house is clean and cosy, beds are comfortable. Our kids are really excited about the wood burner in the house, the owner is very helpful showing us how it works. They also enjoyed taking the Launceston steam engines in town, and we visited the Eden Project which is around 45 mins' drive from the cottage. Just a note that it takes 10-15 mins drives to the nearest supermarket and Launceston town. There was no handwash available, so we needed to buy from supermarket, or you can bring it with you.

Negative: If open windows, flies and insects come into the house. It is a bit difficult to adjust the temperature of the shower but doable after gathered some experience (apparently height/ pressure related).

Summary: A clean and cosy cottage with wood burner
