Positive: The furniture and beds were super comfortable. The kitchen had all the items you could need. Good amount of tv channels and the location on the park was good away from the hussle of the main area. The seaviews and mountain views absolutly fantastic. Finest Retreats did sort out the issues we had in a timely manner and kept us updated.

Negative: The toilet system was broke when we arrived, Finest Retreats did deal with this straight away. However not what we wanted after a long journey. The wardrobe in the twin room, hanging rail was broken and when we hung clothes up fell to the bottom. We had a dripping tap in the kitchen, which we had been informed about and Finest Retreats had organised for a maintenanceman to attend the lodge on Monday. The kitchen itself wasn't brilliantly clean in the cupboard where we would store food. We had to clean the shelf and move leftover condiments tins and sauces out of the way. For us the open gaviscon bottle was a concern as this also was left in the cupboard. The floor in the lounge had mess under the furniture and felt sandy, when we got the hover out to clean the head tubing was disintegrating and so didn't pick up well, the headbrushes also was full hair. On Wednesday we had a small amount of rain and the roof started to leak, we contacted Finest retreats straight away and they organised for Haven maintenance person to come sort the issue out. However it was concerning as the electricity for the TV was very close to were the roof was leaking. The outside of the lodge is in need of a good paint and some general tidying/maintenance.

Summary: We had a good stay after a not so good start, the beds however are some of the best we have slept in
